Island Glass Company builds custom glass display cases for retail stores, galleries, museums, and private collections across Whittier and the surrounding Southern California cities. A well-made display case keeps the merchandise visible and the glass itself invisible — clean seams, polished edges, and secure locks that disappear into the overall design.
What we build

Glass specs
Most cases use 1/4 or 3/8-inch tempered glass with flat or miter-polished edges. For museum and high-security retail we specify laminated glass to resist impact and deter smash-and-grab. Glass corners can be butt-joined with clear UV adhesive for a frameless look or joined with minimal aluminum framing for a traditional finish.
Options:
- Low-iron glass — removes green tint, ideal for pure-white backdrops and high-end jewelry
- Anti-reflective coated glass — for museum vitrines where glare would wash out the exhibit
- Laminated security glass — resists impact for loss prevention

- Tubular and cam locks for rear-access doors
